2. What are the requirements to obtain a solicitor's permit?

To obtain a solicitor's permit, the following must be completed:

• Complete a solicitor's permit application
• Pay the permit fee of $100 plus $10 for each solicitor
• Provide a surety bond made payable to the city in the amount of $1,000
• Show a driver's license or photo ID for each solicitor
• Show health certificate(s), if applicable
• Show proof of insurance on vehicles
• Show sales tax number, if applicable

You must complete a request for release of public records form and turn it in to the city secretary at City Hall.
